Silver jewelry making class is an important activity in Bali’s economy, which is heavily dependent on tourism and agriculture. Sometimes whole families in some Balinese villages work in the jewelry-making industry, making it the number one source of income for them. This tour offers you the opportunity to learn a little about this ancient activity, as well as support these local families.

The 3-hour class takes place at one of these traditional villages, where you will be able to see the way they work, learn about their culture and art, and, of course, get introduced to the jewelry-making process with a hands-on workshop. The workshop consists of a silversmith accompanying you on every step of the process, from burning, cutting, cleaning, until finishing.

Safety is a priority in this class, so the professionals around you will make sure the activities and procedures are running smoothly. The silversmith will also make sure you get the jewelry you want by the end of the class. Five (5) grams of silver are included in the price and are sufficient to create a pair of earrings, a ring, or a pendant. You will receive a hard copy and an email with the certificate for the class.
